Chronological Development of Ayurveda - part 2

Nagarjuna belonged to 3rd century CE. It was the timeline of Gupta Dynasty (319 – 550 AD) in India and believed the ‘Golden Age’ of Indian History by Some historians. Due to this, Ayurveda was also flourishing.Impact of medieval time in Sushrut Samhita might be the contribution of Chandrata of 10th century CE. There are two different Vagbhattas found in history named as Vruddha Vagbhatta and Laghu Vagbhatta. Vruddha Vagbhatta (6th Century AD) is the author of Astang Sangraha and Laghu Vagbhatta (5th Century AD) of Astanga Hridaya.
