Pitta is divided in to five based on the seat and type of action. They are Pachaka, Bhrajaka, Ranjaka, Alochaka, and Sadhaka.

Ans : In vata, vayu and akasha makes it laghu. In pitta, it is laghu because of agni mahabhoota. comparitively, vata is more laghu.
Ans : By observing digestion, Interest towards food intake, belching, Hiccups, movement of apana vata, defecation, nature of stool etc.
Ans : In pitta vruddhi, all gunas of pitta are generally increased. in pitta prakopa, some particular guna is increased beyond limit and some decreased. vruddhi causes vruddhi lakshanas, while prakopa directly leads to disease.
