‘Kriya’- Any action or treatment done to make dosha samyatha.•‘Kala’- Time period of each stage ( avastha) during the progression of a disease. Acharya vagbhata explains three stages of dosha vitiation in relation to climatic changes, namely chaya, prakopa and shama. Acharya susruta details six stages of disease development called shat kriya kala, where treatment should be done, to prevent forthcoming stage.
